This website is operated by GOLDCRESTCODE LTD. It describes our services and provides a way to contact us. Sending an enquiry does not commit either party to a project.

2. Our service scope
GoldcrestCode is a software house providing professional websites, virtual experiences, bespoke business software and scoped AI integrations. Ongoing hosting, maintenance, support and data-processing responsibilities depend on the agreed engagement. We do not currently offer administration of clients’ customer databases or operational personal-data records.
We nevertheless handle our own business enquiries and correspondence through Netlify Forms and Microsoft 365 business email (Outlook). Personal information involved in that activity is covered by our Privacy Notice. Any client work involving personal information must be assessed and documented according to what is actually done.
3. Information and enquiries
General service descriptions and indicative estimates do not themselves form a binding offer or contract. An engagement requires an accepted proposal, statement of work or other agreement. Its scope, price and material conditions must be stated before acceptance.
Website demonstrations, workflow comparisons and value estimators are illustrative unless expressly identified as actual project work. Estimators depend on selected assumptions and the limitations stated with the result; they do not guarantee savings, profit, search rankings or commercial outcomes. AI demonstrations and general commentary are not a substitute for qualified legal, financial, safety or other regulated advice.
We aim to present accurate information. A disclaimer does not excuse a misleading statement, remove legally binding pre-contract information, or override a right or obligation that the law protects.
4. Website use
You may use the site for lawful purposes and to learn about our services. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, misuse enquiry forms or copy protected materials without permission or another lawful basis. Reasonable security measures may be used to address misuse.
5. Intellectual property
Our branding, original website materials and other protected content belong to us or the relevant rights holder. You may view the site and make reasonable extracts for evaluating our services. Other copying, adaptation or commercial reuse requires permission unless permitted by law. Open-source components and third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licences and rights.
Client and third-party marks and materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply an endorsement or partnership. This notice does not itself grant us permission to publish anyone else’s protected or confidential material.
6. External services and availability
We do not control the content, availability or privacy arrangements of linked websites. Please check the information applicable to a service you choose to visit. A link does not itself imply endorsement. Use of an external provider does not remove responsibilities that we retain under law or contract.
We do not promise uninterrupted access or a completely secure internet service. We may need to correct, maintain or update the site. This notice does not give us a general right to disregard an accepted service commitment.
7. Liability and mandatory rights
The site provides general information rather than advice tailored to your circumstances. Please seek appropriate advice before making a decision requiring specialist assessment. Any agreed client-service liability provisions belong in the accepted contract, including any incorporated Terms of Business.
Nothing in this notice excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
8. Law and related documents
Website-use matters are governed by Scots law, subject to any mandatory protection that applies to you. The Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction; consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction.
